Fabricator, Fabricator... Trousers are Burning

Managed to get myself in a curmudgeonly mood on Friday evening by downing a couple of cocktails and then watching Iowa Week on local PBS. Governor Vilsack was the guest... and he was dancin' around. After running for Governor with a "no new taxes" promise, I'm sure that you will be shocked to know that Gov. Vilsack is trying to raise taxes.

Repeat after me children. A few (the "rich") will pay more. Most will pay less. It's not about raising taxes... it's about keeping promises. For the children. For the children. For the children!!! To the barricades!!!
