We just want a wee bit more... really...

The Register thinks the Governor is on to something here. And they think it's: "Reasonable, realistic and - courageous".

"Vilsack outlined what must be done to restore vitality to Iowa."

Can you guess...? Come on now. What must be done...? You can say it. I know you can.

Raise taxes!

Whew... that's better now, isn't it?

And, what's at stake...?

Without more revenue, Iowa will ruin its good schools and universities, starve economic development, fail to provide essential services and abdicate stewardship of the state's magnificent natural resources.

Well... at least they're not hysterical alarmists.

He's Baaaaack...

David Hogberg is back from his hunting trip and is gunning for the Des Moines Register editorial staff. Dr. Hogberg is shocked... SHOCKED, I tell you that the esteemed editorialists of Des Moines' most prestigious newspaper (now basking in their month of fame every four years...) wants the State of Iowa to SPEND MORE OF OUR MONEY.

I appalled David... just appalled.

France - Meet Your Future

This, gentle readers is Sabine Herald. She's French. She's a Libertarian. And she's... well... hot!

Not to mention the fact that she's bright and on fire with passion for individual rights and responsibilities. Man, that has to be a tough row to hoe in France!

She's interviewed in The Atlasphere:

Ms. Herald is a member of for Liberté J'écris Ton Nom (Liberty, I Write Your Name). a think tank and activist organization at the forefront of a new and growing pro-liberty movement in France.

A passionate speaker and essayist, Herold promotes liberty from a moral, ethical point of view — namely, from the standpoint of individual responsibility and the right of every individual to make his or her own decisions.

Go check out the interview. Pssst... there are more photos of the lovely Sabine there...
